Oldham Recreation Area is actually a county-run park just outside of town and although there is a phone number, I think it is for the people who work as caretakers - not sure if that job is even filled. At any rate, if you just want to enjoy a picnic, there is no reservation necessary - the park is open until dark. If you want to camp, I think you can self-register once you get there. There are open-air shelter houses with picnic tables. There is also a large dam for fishing and a sandy beach for swimming, complete with an anchored floating platform for diving and sunning yourself. Hope you have a good time.

Hi!

We have been trying like crazy to get somone to answer the phone to the Oldham Recreation place in order to try and make a reservation. No one ever answers? Do you have any other thoughts or know of who might be able to assist us?

Thank you.
